At Bethel, we are committed to living out our faith within community. One primary way we do so is through our small groups ("BODs"; Band of Disciples).

New season will begin Friday Feb 23, 8PM and Sunday Feb 25, 1PM.
We will be studying the book of "Acts".

Women's Ministry

Discipleship and accountability are important parts of the Christian life. Men and women ministering side-by-side is certainly a beautiful thing, but there are benefits to women being around other women. There’s a poem written by an unknown author where a young boy asks why his mom cries. Below is an excerpt from that poem, where God responds by explaining:

"When I made the woman she had to be special. I made her shoulders strong enough to carry the weight of the world, yet gentle enough to give comfort. I gave her an inner strength to endure childbirth and the rejection that many times comes from her children. I gave her strength to carry her husband through his faults and fashioned her from his rib to protect his heart. I gave her wisdom to know that a good husband never hurts his wife, but sometimes tests her strengths and her resolve to stand beside him unfalteringly. And finally, I gave her a tear to shed. This is hers exclusively to use whenever it is needed..."

As women, we need one another to remind us of these things. At Bethel, our women meet for Chat ‘N’ Chew once a quarter. It’s a great time of sharing culinary favorites, enjoying relationship-building activities, and seeking God’s desire for us as individuals and as sisters in a church. Our hope is to challenge one another in a way that will impact the lives of those around us for Jesus Christ, whether it be at home, work, play and even at church.

At Bethel, we have a desire and passion to minister to students whom God has entrusted to us. Youth Group @ Bethel encourages students, 6th grade through high school, to grow more like Jesus through community, Biblical teaching and discipleship.

Sr High and Jr High meets every Sunday at 1PM

Children's Ministry

Jesus loves the little children. The Bible does not record many instances of Jesus interacting with children, but where He does, it is with abundant kindness and love. Throughout His ministry, He used children as an example of the type of faith that we should have; a faith that is pure, unassuming, trusting and humble. Therefore it’s important to nurture our children and raise them to be men and women of God.

Bethel offers a children’s ministry that serves to partner with parents to teach Biblical truths through weekly Sunday school classes. We choose curriculum that encourages children to engage in discovery activities which introduce the Bible lesson for the day, followed by story time and crafts. Families worship together through the first song set and the children's sermon given by the pastors. They are then dismissed to their classes for further learning.

Children's Ministry serves children from Preschool (age 4 by September 1st) through 5th grade.
